
Rachel Singer – Owner, Baker
My name is Rachel Singer, and together with my daughter Leila, we are the co-founders of The Sugar Doughmain! Growing up, my aunt made the most scrumptious delectables. Watching and helping her bake inspired me to have patience and desire to develop my own skills. My background in chemical engineering and math helped me to improve recipes, and after my kids were born, I started baking more often and in greater quantities. I have always wanted my kids to have fresh-baked treats, generally without additives or preservatives. I also really enjoyed baking for parties, school and community events. After a number of friends and family gently pushed me to share my cookies, we opened The Sugar Doughmain.
Leila Singer – Co-Founder
Leila Singer is a co-founder of The Sugar Doughmain. Currently a high school junior, Leila serves as marketing advisor to the company with a focus on digital vision, design and execution. In her spare time, Leila enjoys math, computer science, making digital art, field hockey and taste-testing new potential product offerings for The Sugar Doughmain.
